These images were captured with a Samsung 360 (2017) VR camera. Hours of rough 4×4 roads lead deep into Canyonlands National Park. You can scroll in all directions of these images. Give it a try! They were taken on a climbing trip to Canyonlands with Mary Harlan.
This first image was taken about halfway up Monster Tower. You can see Washer Woman Tower/Arch in the background.
This second image captures Mary Harlan climbing Monster Tower. It was shot from the same place as the image above.
This is our summit view from the top of Monster Tower. Just big enough for a game of ping pong, but sadly we forgot to bring a table. Both the La Sal Mountains and Abajos are visible in the distance as is much of canyonlands.
The sun sets behind Monster Tower and casts amazing light onto the Canyonlands.
Mary Harlan follows Jason Nelson on a pitch several hundred feet up Washer Woman Arch.
Jason Nelson belays Mary Harlan from the summit of Washer Woman Arch. Monster Tower and Canyonlands are in the background.
