Visual Adventures is home to the creative talents of husband and wife team, Jason and Lisa nelson. Their personal lives are filled with adventure and beauty which resonates in their work. When they are not collaborating on a project for Visual Adventures, you can probably find them playing hard in mountains, canyons or desserts of the southwest.

Jason has always had an eye for composition and beauty. He brings this passion to his web sites and design work. He learned the mechanics of photography at the Colorado Institute of Art but it’s living with a camera by his side that has taught him the nuances of capturing life, emotion and moments. Being a photographer lucky enough to reside in the southwest, his life is surrounded by beauty and adventure. Jason has been developing websites for 15 years and pretty much tweaks out on CSS and HTML. If he is not in the mountains playing, He is usually at the computer honing his Jedi skills.

Lisa is the Co-founder of web development studio, Visual Adventures. She believes that search marketing is an art as well as a science and takes and intuitive holistic approach to search. Lisa helps clients pull all the pieces together to tell their story on the web. She provides input and recommendations to the developer on site architecture, user interface and navigation. Lisa also works with on-page optimization techniques, inbound and outbound links, content keyword research and social media. Using the Google tools as well as a variety of other web based tools, she helps to increase conversions and improve the overall effectiveness of website. Lisa also trains clients in WordPress, Google Analytics and Webmaster tools and general website maintenance.
