Life Below Zero TV show
Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of working for the show Life Below Zero up in Alaska. I’ve been fulfilling the role of Assitant Cameraman and Digital Imaging Technician. Since we film the show with small crews, there are many roles that have to be done by each crew member. I’ve been filming, flying drones, managing media, setting up and managing equipment and dealing with audio responsibilities.
There is a lot of travel required to get to locations. Aeroplanes, trucks, boats, snow mobiles, and helicopters are the norm. Most of the locations are remote and near the arctic circle. I’m honored to be working on such a prestigious show and the mosquitos have been more than happy to have another meal. Humans have a lot less fur to try and bite through.
