Restoration of the Plaza Block Building, La Junta, Colorado.
The Plaza Block Building had been in dire need of repair for some time. The first phase of the restoration was to shore up the walls and put a new roof on it to prevent further damage to the structure. Many interesting decorative elements were found in the process and saved for restoration. Such elements included wallpaper that was saved to be reprinted and hand-carved trim.
